VPNFree is available on iPhone, iPad (iOS 14+), and Android (Android 7+). Native apps for Windows, macOS, and Linux are on our roadmap.
No. We operate under a strict no-logs policy. We don't track your browsing history, the apps you use, or what you download. We only collect minimal aggregated data needed to keep the service running (e.g., total bandwidth consumed, anonymized crash reports).
We use the WireGuard® protocol on optimized servers, delivering speeds typically within 10–15% of your raw connection. For most users that means HD streaming, video calls, and gaming with no noticeable slowdown.
VPNFree includes obfuscation technology designed to bypass most network filters. However, we cannot guarantee performance in every country, and using a VPN may be restricted by local laws — please check your jurisdiction.
Yes. Each install is independent — there's no account limit. You can run VPNFree on your phone, tablet, and family members' devices at the same time, free of charge.
Since VPNFree has no subscription by default, there's nothing to cancel. To uninstall, simply remove the app from your device like any other app. If you have a premium upgrade, you can manage it in your device's app store subscriptions.
Try these in order: (1) switch to a different server location, (2) toggle airplane mode on/off, (3) restart the app, (4) reinstall. If issues persist, send us your device model and OS version via the contact form and we'll help you debug.
Optional premium upgrades inside the app (dedicated IPs, advanced routing, priority support) cover our infrastructure costs. We never sell user data and we never display third-party ads inside VPNFree.
